Coaching for boys ages 10–17 focused on emotional regulation, self-respect, and connection — grounded in Relational Life Therapy. Available online across Canada.
Strong & Connected offers therapy-informed coaching for teen boys who are struggling with emotions, relationships, and navigating the pressures of growing up.
This work is grounded in Relational Life Therapy principles — helping boys develop the emotional skills they need without shaming them for not already having them.
Most boys aren't given the relational skills they need. They're expected to figure out emotions, friendships, and identity largely on their own.
The result is a generation of boys who are bright, capable, and often deeply sensitive — but who lack the vocabulary and tools to navigate what they're feeling. What parents often see is the behavior, not the cause.
Many boys don't learn emotional vocabulary, conflict repair, boundary-setting, or how to ask for help without feeling weak.
Anger outbursts, withdrawal, defiance, social struggles, screen dependency, anxiety, or simply shutting down when things get hard.
This coaching uses the principles of Relational Life Therapy to help boys develop emotional awareness, accountability, and the confidence that comes from genuine self-respect.
Supportive and firm at the same time. Your son won't be coddled or shamed — he'll be challenged with care to take ownership of his behavior and its impact.
When boys learn to take responsibility — not from guilt, but from strength — they develop genuine self-respect and the ability to repair relationships.
Boys learn best through doing, not being talked at. Sessions focus on practical tools they can actually use in their daily lives — at school, at home, and with friends.
One-on-one online coaching sessions tailored to each boy's unique situation, strengths, and challenges.
Practical coaching for the issues that bring most families in. Each area is addressed with specific, teachable skills.
Each session builds on practical skills that transfer to real-life situations.
The most lasting change happens when the home environment supports what boys are learning in coaching. Parent involvement is offered as appropriate to each family.
Help understanding what your son is working on and how to support it at home.
Practical help with setting limits that are firm, fair, and relational — not punitive.
Tools for parents to lead with both warmth and authority — especially when emotions run high.
Ensuring what happens in sessions connects to what's happening in your son's daily life.
